IVY'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS SELLING ON BEHALF

Selecting Items:

  • The seller drops off items they wish to sell.

  • Staff will select appropriate items to be sold.

  • Staff will advise the seller via email what items will be sold by Ivy, this is your listing.

  • Any remaining items will need to be uplifted by the seller within seven days of the listing email.

  • Items remaining after these seven days will be given to a charity of Ivy’s choice.

Pricing Items:

  • Staff will select a price for the items, based on quality and brand of item.  The price will be aimed at getting the best price for the item, while still making it sellable.

  • The pricing will be emailed to the seller in the listing email.

  • Items are then introduced into the shop.

  • Items will remain on the racks for two calendar months, after this the listing is expired.

Selling Items:

  • We sell items on your behalf.

  • The seller receives 50% of the total price the item has been sold for.

  • The seller pays a $3 handling fee per listing.

  • Once an item is sold in shop 50% of this sale is added to the seller’s account.

  • Once the listing has expired, staff will transfer the total amount on the seller’s account (less handling fee) to the bank account on their registration form.

  • The seller will be notified by email.

  • Payment will be made within 14 days of the expiry date.

  • Unsold items need to be uplifted within 14 days of expiry date.  Items uncollected will be given to a charity of Ivy’s choice.

  • If the seller chooses to relist some or all of the unsold items, they will need to recommence the process again.

  • If the seller has had no contact from the seller within 14 days of the expiry of the listing the seller should make contact with Ivy.

Withdrawing Items:

  • If an item is not sold already and the seller wants to withdraw an item from the shop during the period of the listing, they must advise a staff member, sign an amendment to the listing and find the item on the rack to be withdrawn.

Loss/Damage to Items:

  • Ivy and staff will exercise reasonable care of your items during the period of the listing.

  • Items will be taken into stock on the basis the seller accepts all risk of loss or damage, including shoplifting.  

  • Ivy reserve the right to use your items for promotional purposes, including social media and website.

What we accept:

  • New high street and designer brands, as well as cool vintage clothing.

  • Women’s clothes, shoes and accessories.

  • Items in great condition (no stains, tears, etc).

  • Freshly laundered items.

What we DON'T accept:

  • Underwear, socks, singlets, etc.

  • Dirty, damaged or badly worn items.

  • Shoes that are worn or broken.

  • No bedding or toys please.
